At Shiftup, I focus on supporting customers in maximising the use of our software. I also contribute to European research projects that leverage my expertise and our technology.Shiftup is an efficient pre-marketing tool for energy and infrastructure projects. The platform enables comprehensive communication and participation with end customers.Shiftup is a spin-off of CoBenefit.

It was my responsibility to align product vision with technical and operational processes to ensure cohesive strategy and execution. I led and managed a cross-functional team to successfully develop and deliver the products I designed.CoBenefit provides a digital team as a service, supporting strategic innovation projects in the renewable energy sector from conceptualisation and software development to market launch (lab to market). Our experienced team of developers in Kenya, alongside our on-site CPO and CTO in Germany, ensures the necessary speed to keep our projects ahead. Fluent in both business and tech, we elevate projects with a holistic approach, offering our customers a competitive edge.We currently provide services exclusively for select projects on request.We have founded two spin-off companies: OHKW Klimajobs and Shiftup. We also facilitate the transition to sustainability at industry level through our engagement in multi-stakeholder initiatives across Europe.

During the two years, I developed a range of sustainability criteria and a methodology to support architects in their decision-making. I applied this in a pilot project with the architecture firm Studio Hartzema. Moreover, I developed an online shop for used building materials and an MVP for an Autodesk Revit plug-in.Our vision was a greener construction industry that exploits the benefits of the circular economy. Therefore, we helped architects and engineers to find suitable sustainable building materials for their projects. Unfortunately, our approach was not scalable at the time, which is why we ended the endeavour.We completed the EIT Greenhouse 2019 as the best team, were 'Kraak de Crisis' finalists, and were part of KTH Innovation in Stockholm for over a year.

I was working with Vyer as part of an exchange with Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. A central topic during my time in Sweden was the development of Vyer’s pricing strategy. Therefore, I analyzed the competition, established a financial analysis of customer expenses with the help of a survey, and modeled customer break-even times. My financial projection for Vyer incorporated this data as well as growth assumptions. Furthermore, I helped to establish a marketing strategy with the primary objective to grow the brand awareness. Through evaluating the competition, I identified LinkedIn and Facebook as target channels for marketing. Marketing topics were collected and later tested through social media posts.

For my master thesis, I was researching how building design and engineering companies like Arcadis can facilitate their Digital Transformation. Therefore, the operating principles for a Knowledge-Based System were developed to enable the (re)use of the knowledge stored in Building Information Models (BIM) models of previous and ongoing projects. Subsequently, the transforming effects such a system would have and connected issues were addressed. A key implication of my thesis was that Knowledge Management should be an integral part of a company's digital strategy.

Research project on how to increase the impact of intermediaries like het Groene Brein in the output of cutting-edge sustainability innovation in the national innovation system.

I was working in the field of Life Cycle Analysis. During my time at BASF, I contributed to studies on recycling and agricultural processes (animal feed and crop production). Therefore, I evaluated the results and prepared reports for internal and external customers. Moreover, I introduced and developed new calculation tools for the department and implemented ecological models in GaBi and Excel.

In the online retail business for organic food, I was responsible for core aspects of logistics, shift scheduling (15 employees), the trouble-free data exchange with Amazon servers, and purchasing of inventory. Furthermore, I calculated the feasibility and set up operating procedures for the dispatch of new products. Besides, I instructed the staff in order to increase the efficiency of the packaging process.

I was responsible for order management, the bid proposal management, the preparation of accountancy, daily correspondence, and other clerical work.
