Met het team van Bedrijventerreinen van de Toekomst hebben we als doel om een doorgedreven en structurele verduurzaming van bestaande regionale bedrijventerreinen te realiseren. Door innovatieve en duurzame oplossingen voor industrieterreinen te ontwikkelen, maken we ze efficiënter, milieuvriendelijker en meer technologisch geavanceerd. Dit omvat bijvoorbeeld het integreren van hernieuwbare energiebronnen, het implementeren van slimme infrastructuren en het bevorderen van circulaire economische praktijken binnen het bedrijventerrein.Concreet selecteerden we 20 bedrijventerreinen waarvoor we transitiestudies en implementatieplannen ontwikkelen. Dit doen we in samenwerking met partners: intercommunales, overheidsinstanties, lokale besturen, bedrijven en kenniscentra.Daarnaast willen we ook de verduurzaming van de West-Vlaamse bedrijven versnellen om ze voor te bereiden op toekomstige milieu-eisen.We focussen op volgende thema's:• Zuinig ruimtegebruik• Circulaire economie (water - energie - materialen)• Ontsluiting, veiligheid en mobiliteit• Landschappelijke en ecologische kwaliteit• Parkmanagement en bedrijventerreinverenigingen• Sociale dienstverlening en lokale inbedding

Per provincie is er een single point of contact (SPOC). Bij dit aanspreekpunt kunnen bestaande en opstartende bedrijventerreinverenigingen evenals lokale besturen en ontwikkelaars of beheerders van bedrijventerreinen terecht voor eerstelijnsadvies met betrekking tot bedrijventerreinmanagement (BTM). BTM-gerelateerde onderwerpen:• Energie-efficiëntie en klimaatneutraliteit• Ketenbeheer, water en afval• Beeldvorming, biodiversiteit en inrichting• Risicobeheersing en beveiliging• Delen van diensten en personeel• Mobiliteit, transport en logistiek• Oprichting, financiering en werking• Projecten
