Built a geographical map of the entire corporate network, created a SQL representation of it, used Dijkstra algorithm (shortest path) to generate proxy PAC files for optimum WAN traffic profile.- Wrote Kickstart files for automatic Linux deployment / provisioning, built custom RPM packages, built updates server, wrote automatization scripts, etc.- Designed, built from scratch a centralized syslog server with MySQL backend and PHP Web interface for custom event searching, alerts, reporting, etc.- Involved in architecting, deploying, troubleshooting email infrastructure (Sendmail, Postfix, gateways, relays, anti-spam), DNS (djbdns, Bind, master and slave servers, zone files, local resolvers), NTP (layered network of servers, GPS receivers).- Moved to network security. “Go-to person” in Operations for TCP/IP traffic analysis, troubleshooting network issues, handling security incidents, etc.- Admin for corporate CheckPoint and Cisco PIX firewalls, IPSec VPN concentrators. Key tech person in evaluation of several IDS / IPS products, chose TippingPoint, deployed and maintained it. Solely evaluated, configured, deployed Qualys network security scanners, got certified by Qualys. Extensively used nmap and Nessus. Performed wireless scans using Kismet. Did Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
