Customer Support and Test Engineer with the following responsibilities and assignments:- Responsible of providing customer support for our AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) software- Received and analyze issues reported by clients; provide training and solutions, including work around solutions, and/or record tickets if software changes are required- Receive customer requirements, analyze, propose and argue the implementation- Prepare training materials for basic and advance training sessions for customers- Lecture for training customers on how to use AMR software tools- Prepare the software and hardware platform for AMR application testing process, including performance, endurance and functionality tests- Prepare the software and hardware platform for new smart grid meters developed by Elster group worldwide- Make the test assignments to team members, planning the test process, collect and report the results - Prepare scripts for automatic tests using Phenix (Python-based Hierarchical ENvironment for Integrated Xtallography) platform; run complex test suites using Phenix▪ Prepare SQL database scripts required by customers or for testing purposes▪ Maintain the hardware and software infrastructures for customers sites, including SQL databases, backups and restore procedures▪ Coordinate a team of maximum 12 persons during the software product testing cycle
