It ManagerBadotherm May 2003 - Apr 2006I coordinated the local team (key users) for the implementation of the Microsoft Business Solutions Navision Attain 3.70, at Badotherm Romania.I managed the design and implementation of the Windows 2000/2003 local area network, at Badotherm Romania.Responsibilities:• Business requirements identification - “As is” phase.• Together Navision consultant we defined “Should be” requirements and scenarios.• After a training period we performed a simulation of the main processes… Show more I coordinated the local team (key users) for the implementation of the Microsoft Business Solutions Navision Attain 3.70, at Badotherm Romania.I managed the design and implementation of the Windows 2000/2003 local area network, at Badotherm Romania.Responsibilities:• Business requirements identification - “As is” phase.• Together Navision consultant we defined “Should be” requirements and scenarios.• After a training period we performed a simulation of the main processes managed using Navision: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Relationship Management, Sales & Receivables, Purchase & Payables, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, and Capacity Requirements Planning.• We prepared data (Items, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Contacts, Customers, Vendors, Chart of Accounts, initial accounts balance, etc), and we established the setup parameters for all areas of the application. All data were prepared, checked and approved in Excel, and after that were imported in Navision appropriate tables.• We used a configurator application (eCon) integrated with Navision in order to define finished product items in a fast and reliable way.• During three months we tested and tuned Navision using it in parallel with the old system. In the same period the key users trained the normal users and we created additional specific reports using Object Designer. I defined user roles and permissions.• Starting with 1st of January 2005 we were going to use Navision as official application and old application was closed.• Made a detailed analysis and assessment of the current and projected requirements related to LAN.• Designed physical and logical topology of the network creating a structural cabling project.• Coordinated local team for installation and setup of the servers and desktop stations.• Defined users, groups and their rights and permissions using Active Directory and Group Policies.
