I help define the product roadmap (new features and timing), and lead the design and development of our front end application, CI/CD framework and of our core event driven real time component. Moving to new deployments architectures (K8S), new frameworks (vertx), implementing new features/integrations and short release cycles, all while maintaining backward compatibility is taking up most of my time. On top, I am contributing to presales or sales (which is common I guess in any small - medium enterprise)

Letting aside the "usual" (but not trivial) responsibilities one would expect from this position, I had really 4 tasks on my table:- COVID19 and everything that it triggered, fast reorganisation for teams to work from home, change our processes, way of working, etc- Acceleration of digital first strategy - as the entire company pivoted to embrace digital first processes and products, a lot of changes were required in the IT landscape to support these ambitions- Acquisition of broadband operator UPC - consolidation of IT systems, adapt to new processes specific to broadband business - Workforce transformation - change the mix via insourcing, transformation from a telecom company to a technology company able to innovate and develop new IT products relaying on our own resources

As a CTO in a startup that has customers in telecommunication (one which more than 25M subscribers) you get to do a bit of everything: setup the cloud based environments for development, test and release, CI/CD pipeline, setup ticketing system, code repository, wiki, etc; all without neglecting the development of the product itself, new features both in real time backend and admin front end, customer features, etc.On top, always in your mind how to prove our value to new customers, building presentations, proof of concepts with prospect customers.

Responsible for sales support and delivery of telecom solutions related to core network (HSS/HLR, PCRF), service platforms (NextGen IN, IVR, signalling), BSS systems (mediation, fraud management and revenue assurance) and applications (VAS, cloud based solutions, subscriber data monetization).I am responsible for promoting and delivering the above type of solutions across Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

I am currently responsible for delivery of communication and media solutions in Central and Eastern Europe for everything that is not part of OSS and BSS; this includes roughly telecom signalling solutions, value added services & service delivery platform / framework, core network solutions (HSS / HLR) and personalization solutions.I am leading a regional team and I am responsible for delivery projects in my domain (involved/informed from opportunity assessment to acceptance) as well as for order generation, working closely with sales representative.

I am working in HP Technology Solution Group, Consulting and Integration, Communication, Mobility & Entertainment in Emergent European Markets.I am involved in presales and delivery of solutions for telco operators.

My current position involves basically two main roles: 1. manage a team of consultants working mainly in charging and billing projects 2.solution architect working on site for telecom projects (most recent ones are related to prepaid/postpaid convergence and service delivery platform)

I worked on site having the roles of solution architect for telecom projects and technical project manager.The projects were in Turkey and UAE and consisted in SDP deployment.

I have been involved as a solution architect for online charging (prepaid / postpaid convergence) in a number of projects with LHS in Greece and Turkey.

I started working with Ferma in 2000 as a software engineer and gradualy I advanced to the position of technical project manager, actually supervising the whole activity of the research and development department in Romania.I was involved mainly in projects related to prepaid platform but also call centers, voucher management, call control and IVR applications, customer care and self care.In October 2003 I become the technical responsible for the activity of the entire R&D department in Bucharest.
