Floris has a particular focus on the subject matters financial risk management and (regulatory) risk reporting. In his role at ABN AMRO Bank, Floris is responsible for monitoring, assessing and explaining the impact of developments in prudential (Basel related) regulations for the bank as a whole, participate in industry advocacy activities and for interpreting current and future regulations in relation to specific business transactions and activities.Prior to joining ABN AMRO Bank, Floris gained 14 years of experience with KPMG Risk Consulting advising on topics such as Basel III, CRDIV/CRR, COREP reporting, financial instruments (hedge) accounting (IAS39/IFRS13), and financial risk management framework review at banks and corporate treasuries. Before that, Floris had three years of experience in auditing financial institutions (banks, insurance and lease companies) and corporate treasuries with the Assurance practice of KPMG Financial Services.
