MBA with a full range of managerial experience, beginning my career in Industrial Engineering in a high-volume operation and high SKU mixture with many successful programs and projects. I have also had extensive experience in equipment design and redesign resulting in increased productivity and ergonomic workplace engineering. Accomplishing this through the development of teams that embrace cultural change with a focus on both six-sigma quality control and lean operational process of continuous improvement. With extensive experience in understanding the production process in complex fabrication processes with Stephen mfg. and various operation including my consulting work provides with experience in establishing costing processes and generate monitoring systems. The monitoring systems are essential for check and balance to ensure margins are maintained or exceeded. I have also performed consulting services for many organizations needing an engineer and managerial assistance outside of my work position (with the consent of my employer). In the USA this day and time there is external pressure on profit margin which are extreme and, in most case, out of your control and internal factors that can become a double edge sword and to be successful an organization must control these elements to provide a competitive edge. A very large portion of my career is analyzing these elements and develop a plan of controlling the cost, and operation ensuring movement toward projected goals. My major responsible was establishing the bill of material structure including direct labor hour calulation from CAD drawing and motion time anaylsis to determine the different level of cost factors in the manufacturing process. I also developed project progess reporting comparing projected project cost to actural project cost to monitor and provide management ifgormation of progress effect on project margins. This included electrical components, steel fabicated component, and tooled components based of Cad draws and regulator standards. Proposed and implemented lean manufacturing techniques and continous improvement manufacturing concepts training to improve turns and reduce manufacturing cost. Also initated a $500,000 interest free loan from the rural development community to provide capital for expanision in production capacity. As a result of the cost control and reporting information and reporting practices margins increased from 3% average to 18% average.

This included production issues, quality control, ergonomic issues, and any aspect that reduced operating cost and improve customer satisfaction and profitability. This included the development of inventory replace software that reduced yearly expenditures by $500,000 and on hand inventory by $750,000. This software package that I developed was incorporated into the real time production system and given to Kentucky Apparel. Another project was the reengineering of a 100,000 square foot finishing and distribution operation into a team/group operation, which resulted in decrease in cost $3,120,000 per year. The project was so successful that the same concept was established in the Mexico operation and the satellite finish operation.¬I also designed equipment to increase productivity and decrease the environmental impact on team members, which became available in the open market.
