His time in the U.S. Army, the Detroit auto industry, Nashville's healthcare sector, and tech entrepreneur experience all contributed to his comprehensive understanding of technology and its synergistic relationship with its users.Floyd's professional journey began as an applications programmer for the U.S. Army's 1st Infantry Division. He furthered his education at Kansas State University and the University of Michigan at Dearborn, securing a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Recognizing the immense demand for proficient software engineers in Michigan's auto industry, Floyd lent his expertise to numerous enterprises, such as Ford Motor Company, Commerce One, and Covisint.2002 Floyd relocated to Nashville, contributing to DigiChart Inc., Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), and Industrial Strength Marketing. 2009, he founded NetEffect Services, an online marketing company that quickly gained success.Drawing from his experiences in corporate engineering, Floyd frequently grappled with the complexity of delivering user-friendly applications. He recognized the critical need for a user-focused approach to software design and established DePalma Studios in August 2012. DePalma Studios, a user-centered product studio, fundamentally transforms software design by placing users' needs at the forefront.
