Responsible for providing technical support to Parker Account Managers and their customers. Technical support includes: Product Selection, Troubleshooting, & System Analysis

Direct responsibility for hydraulic sales to midsize mobile OEM’s in Wisconsin. Sales channels included both direct and distribution. Gained knowledge in mobile hydraulics including: open & closed circuit systems, mobile sectional valves, and cartridge systems; used this knowledge to obtain orders and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsible for driving division sales through the Parker sales force. Provide technical support & training to Parker sales force. Develop new products to enter new market for the division.

Direct responsibility for all sales in the Midwest region. Managed Midwest region’s distribution network. Performed cold calls on a regular basis to develop new business opportunities.

Responsible for interacting directly with customers to develop formal proposals for hydraulic systems used in the heavy lifting, construction, mining, and maintenance industries. Worked closely with design engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure final end products produced met customers expectations. Provided onsite support and technical training, as well as troubleshooting in the field and over the phone.

Product responsibility for power transmission and conveying equipment chains and sprockets. Product responsibility included direct customer relations with OEM’s such as Arctic Cat, Bombardier Recreational Products, Yamaha, and Charles Machine Works. Offshore supplier management of companies in Japan, China, Taiwan, and Thailand to ensure product meets design and quality specifications.

Coordinated with customers to define and refine application requirements. Selected the most appropriate product to meet customer needs. Modified standard products as needed to meet special customer requirements. Provided guidance to customers in the application and servicing of products. Managed OEM and distributor accounts. Implemented lean manufacturing processes using Kaizen principles. Gained product knowledge in heat exchangers, hydraulic systems, air compressors, electric motors, and fans.
