I am a doctor and entrepreneur developing digital solutions for the health and care sector. I trained as an Anaesthetist in the UK gaining my MRCA with the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Then, I left clinical practice to start working in digital health and pharmaceutical medicine, becoming a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. I founded medDigital with Paul Gardner in 2008. The medDigital team members are specialists in digital communications with expertise in healthcare. We combine insightful science with seamless digital communications to overcome healthcare challenges and transform patient lives. We work with many different organisations, including charities, the NHS and life science companies. I am also a Visiting Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Medicine at King’s College London lecturing on the Medical Affairs MSc and helping with a new research program that will establish a published evidence base for the practice of pharmaceutical medicine and medical affairs. In my work at medDigital, I support life science companies as a pharmaceutical medic and ABPI Code Signatory to help them use insight to do digital better while remaining compliant. I also currently support the ABPI Code Working Group and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine Global Forum. medDigital has also developed medCrowd, the instant messenger for health and care that keeps everyone in touch while protecting confidential information to the required standards. medCrowd was selected to join the incredible first cohort of the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator and won the prestigious Brand Amplifier MedTech Fit Society Silver Award. I also supported the GSTT Charity's Further Faster initiative to help SMEs and the NHS work together better. I am now enjoying the incredible opportunity we have for digital health technology to help everyone get the best care.
