During my time working at The Avenue Cafe at STARplex, I played an integral role in the weekly continuation of the store. My duties included tending to customers at the counter, preparing and cooking food in the kitchen, and exercising barista skills at the coffee machine, ultimately attending to the customers' every need. Of course, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and food safety was of utmost importance, and having to demonstrate time management to ensure all tasks were completed to a sufficient standard before closing. During my last year of employment, I also played an integral role in training the new staff members and assisting the managers with various tasks, displaying strong leadership skills and assuming authority in a respectful manner.
