★ Provide leadership and governance overall asset management, property/facility management, leasing, financial analysis, and financial reporting on over 700,000 square feet of third-party commercial assets as well as commercial assets owned by corporate clients. Author, review, and monitor operating and capital budgets.• Provide ongoing property and asset management of acquired assets, including developing business plans, reviewing and analysis of new lease proposals, overseeing third-party service providers, capital project financial review and approval, valuation analysis, and lender and investor reporting.• Lead the oversight and monitoring of portfolio operations. Monitor portfolio financial performance and plan the structure strategy for individual assets as well as the overall portfolio.• Manage direct reports and cross-functional team members, including training and mentoring, authoring and monitoring KPIs, and creating team and individual success plans.• Manage tenant relations, ensuring alignment, mutually beneficial relationships, lease compliance, and that financial commitments are met. Effectively resolve tenant and property-related issues as needed.• Identify risks, investment opportunities, and key areas for asset performance improvement.• Lead and manage vendor relationships, including vendor bidding and contract negotiations.• Apply general accounting expertise, including financial management, budgeting, financial modeling, property cash flow, and financial statements.• Successfully negotiated and executed 120,000 square feet of lease restructures and lease renewals on bank REO assets encompassing retail, industrial, and office assets.• Worked directly with the Principals of the CA Office division on sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closing investment transactions. A key part of the acquisition team that successfully closed its first office investments at CA Ventures in excess of $100 million of value-add investments.

Directly responsible for over $150 million of new direct equity and JV equity investments on behalf of public institutional and Taft-Hartley clients.• Increased assets under management by approximately 500,000 square feet including 1,000 multifamily and student housing units.• Led all asset management and monitored operational and financial performance on a portfolio of assets with a gross asset value in excess of $600 million.• Oversaw selection and review of third-party service providers (management & leasing) for assets under management.• Completed annual business plans and quarterly and annual valuations. Reviewed and approved all major issues of each asset, including leasing, finance, and capital improvement projects.• Reviewed, recommended, and implemented ongoing asset strategies to ownership to maximize performance and enhance the value of each asset.

Directly Reported to the Managing Principals.• Successfully invested over $100 million as Advisor for the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust in commercial investments in Chicago and other key markets.• Completed in excess of $900 million of executed acquisitions, joint venture equity, and mezzanine investments on behalf of Taft Hartley (AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust) and private equity client (Everest Fund).• Led the asset management and financial reporting function for a $400 million portfolio on behalf of Taft-Hartley clients for Cornerstone Advisors and a $250 million commingled opportunistic private equity fund for Equibase Capital Partners.• Directly monitored operational and financial performance of each asset under management, which included preparing annual business plans and approving all leasing and capital plans.
