In the second half of 2018, I was invited by the CMS-Rio de Janeiro Group Team Leader, researcher Gilvan Augusto Alves, to participate in the Collaboration as an Engineer in the electronics area for the CMS Experiment at CERN. This opportunity marked the beginning of my extensive involvement with the CMS RPC Muon Group. Throughout 2019, I undertook a pivotal Ph.D. project focusing on the development and enhancement of electronic systems for the CMS experiment. My role expanded significantly, and I became the Coordinator of Electronics, where I led various projects, including the RPC Online Software Upgrade, aimed at integrating control and monitoring across RPC detector subsystems.

Approved by public tender, I began my scientific career as a research and development technician in electronics for high energy physics. From 2006 to 2010, I had the opportunity to work as a technician at CERN in the LHCb experiment. After completing the project at CERN, I was invited in 2014 to join another international collaboration at LIP in Lisbon, Portugal, where I developed work in electronics and particle detectors (RPC). Since the end of 2018, I have been collaborating with CERN in the CMS experiment as an Electronics Engineer, focusing on projects within the CMS RPC Muon Group and leading the RPC Online Software Upgrade for detector subsystem integration.

In 2014, the year I was completing my Electrical Engineering degree at UERJ, I was invited by the Director of CBPF to work on an international collaboration project at LIP in Lisbon, Portugal. This work resulted in the paper "Muon Array with RPCs for Tagging Air Showers (MARTA)" and the article "MARTA: a High-Energy Cosmic-Ray Detector Concept for High-Accuracy Muon Measurement." Additionally, I developed a proposal for the slow control of RPC detectors for the MARTA project. This project constituted the theme of my final thesis for my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at UERJ.

I was invited by Researcher Ignacio Bediaga, Leader of the CBPF LHCb Group, to start collaborating on the technical work at CERN. In the same year I started the Faculty of Engineering (UERJ), but it was necessary to suspend it for a few years. This work generated results such as the article "Test station for the CARIOCA FE chip of the LHCb muon detector" where I had the opportunity to participate in this work among others directly at CERN in the basement of the LHCb experiment (2006-2010) in the development of monitoring temperature, consisting of 128 temperature sensors and associated electronics for reading data for MWPC chambers (M1-M5), installation of about 200 Muon chambers on the M2-M5 walls of the LHCb experiment, installation of a gas system for Muon chambers MWPC, development of “software test” for the temperature monitoring system (PVSS) and background noise test and communication status for M4-M5 chamber muons. After finishing the project in early 2010, I returned to the Engineering Graduation (UERJ).
