Dr. Fabien Mathieu is interested in: simulation and analytic modeling of decentralized content distribution networks; game theory, especially preference aggregations and voting systems; big data (e.g. Web graphs). He graduated in 2001 from the École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm (Paris, France). He has a PhD in Computer Science from university of Montpellier II. His PhD research has been performed at LIRMM (Montpellier Computer Science Laboratory) and at INRIA Rocquencourt. He has been a post-doc researcher during 2005 at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) working on traffic analysis. He then worked five years for Orange Labs, three years for Inria, and eight years for Bell Labs. In 2007, he received the best paper award at the IEEE P2P conference, for his article "self-stabilization in preference-based networks".
