Currently work as a consultant for FAO. Previously worked as Project Development and International Relations Office of Slow Food’s Foundation for Biodiversity as a scientific and technical writer. I am responsible for developing project ideas and seeking funding for them as well as any technical or scientific revisions to reports, proposals and published texts. Supervised and provided input on projects carried out by Slow Food International in Latin America, South Saharan Africa and South AsiaBetween 2010 and 2013, Federico worked as a Programme Research Specialist at Bioversity International, in Rome Italy, where he provides scientific input to the Nutrition program in the Nutrition and Marketing division. Bioversity is one of the Centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, a global partnership that unites organizations engaged in research for sustainable development. Federico has collaborated on or supervised several projects in Sub Saharan Africa. Before joining Bioversity, in early 2010, Federico was in Guatemala, carrying out a study on infant malnutrition and mothers’ education in the central highlands of the country, in order to collect data for a thesis used to complete a Masters degree in Human Development and Food Security at the University of RomaTre. From 2004 to 2009, Federico worked in Buenos Aires, for Deloitte & Touche as a senior consultant working in the Public Sector Programme. He was responsible for interacting with government authorities throughout Latin America and supervised several projects both national and international. Before joining Deloitte, Federico worked for two years in China with Assicurazioni Generali, a multinational Italian insurance company. In 2001 Federico obtained a BSc in Management and International Economics from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
