Project Involvement:■ Design of HVAC System for Astronomy Center Miri: - Liaise directly with experienced engineers and assistant engineers - Measuring the size, geometry, and wall material of the building - Estimate the number of occupants (staff) and visitor in each of the building's room - Determine a suitable HVAC system for the whole building - Calculating the cooling load necessary to keep the building cool and comfortable - Choosing the most suitable system by considering the cost, maintenance and efficiency - Determine the most suitable type of air-conditioner at different location to provide a most efficient cooling - Consider the growth of fungus inside the building by controlling suitable humidity level - Draw the position of air-conditioner and condenser using AutoCAD■ Inspection of HVAC System in Kuching Court and Pustaka Negeri Sarawak - Measure temperature and humidity inside each part of the building to ensure efficiency of the current system - Check the chiller and Air-Handling Unit condition - Calculate and analyze the cost to repair VS cost to replace the system - Amendment of the condition appraisal report for HVAC system in both buildingOTHER INVOLVEMENTS: • Exposed to supervision works for Upgrading Elevator System Project at Sarawak General Hospital.• Access the practicability of implementing rainwater harvesting system for Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Building.• Amendment of Condition Appraisal report for HVAC system.• Exposed to few fields such as: - HVAC System - Fire Protection System - Cold Water and Sanitary Services - Energy Management and Renewable Energy - Project Management and HSE
