Since leaving a Big 4 accounting firm 25+ years ago, Michael has led private and public companies as an EVP/GM, COO, CFO and CEO. The businesses ranged from single to multiple sites, had between 10 and 1,300 employees in Canada and the USA, and covered a variety of different industries. He has international experience setting up and maintaining business relationships in China, Europe, Israel, and of course, the USA. Michael has been the leader involved in multiple M&A and divestiture transactions in Canada and the USA.He has been one of two finalists in the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (Manufacturing - Ontario) presentation.Michael is comfortable interacting with all constituencies, internally and externally, that affect a business. He has been instrumental in negotiating bank credit facilities, and raising capital by way of other debt and equity, well in excess of $100 million. He has a history of saving and growing businesses: zero revenue start-ups, existing struggling businesses and then businesses up to revenue of over $155 million. Michael is a quick study and has operated in a wide variety of businesses and industries.His goals are to be involved in business or businesses in senior leadership capacities in order to help them grow and ensure long-term viability. His interest is to be employed directly or to serve on boards of directors.
