Providing technical solutions for Howard University Office of Auxiliary Enterprises, including the ID card/Bison Card, Dining & Retail, Vending, Parking, the bookstore, and university mail services.

Oversee community outreach related activity for the church. Help to develop members ability to reach out to others. Provide Bible Study material that can be used by members to share with people interested in learning more about the faith. Occasionally preach. Teach classes. Represent the church in the community.

Under the leadership of the Assistant Director for Finance (Mr. Larry Evans) I was responsible for building the IT environment of the department of Dining Services from 7 stand-alone desk-top computers to a complex network of food service applications and systems that support a large self-operated university food service. With the help of a small team - and initially as a student - we introduced networking to the department back in the Novell days. We used client-server email, and under my leadership, Dining Services had one of the first web sites on campus (Robert Kohlbus - remember those days?). I coordinated the purchase and installation of two major mission critical systems - an enterprise ID Card Transaction Processing system (CS Gold) and it's companion point-of-sale system (Micros 9700 HMS).
