Federico Mini is an experienced PHD economist specializing in Antitrust, Regulatory Policy, and Applied Economics.Federico has worked as an independent consultant for several clients, including Compass Lexecon (AT&T-TW merger) and international development agencies. In 2018-2019, Federico worked as an Economist at FERC (OAL). Earlier, Federico was a managing Economist at Bates White LLC Economic Consulting, where he worked in the Antitrust practice and in the Communications practice.Prior to joining Bates White, Federico Mini worked for the Italian telecommunications regulatory authority, where he designed and conducted market analyses to inform regulatory policy on, among other things, retail telephone subscription services, directory inquiry services, and mobile wholesale termination charges. He also represented Italy at EU-level regulators′ working groups, where guidelines and practical methods for implementation of EU telecommunications directives were negotiated. Dr. Mini began his career at the World Bank where he worked on Infrastructure Department field projects for the European and Central Asia region.
