Working on a communication platform for patients, family members and providers.

Responsible for the Agent Desktop Application used by customer service agents to service customer service calls. Managed both onshore and offshore resources of this team. Also responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Orbitz travel website. Worked on the dynamic packaging product lines within Orbitz. The Orbitz application is based on a heavily distributed architecture using JINI technology. Worked on different tiers of the Orbitz distributed application. Was involved in developing the Hotel + Car and Air + Hotel dynamic packaging products. The Orbitz platform consists of JSP/Servlets on the front-end and a switching layer which consists of services invoked from the client tier using JINI. The middle switching layer uses JINI to talk to the backend host systems.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the BlueExchange Application, which is a real-time HIPAA transaction validation/routing engine. Developed the messaging components using IBM WebSphere MQ 5.3 and Vitria BusinessWare. Designed and developed java tools to maintain the Trading Partner Relationships. Developed custom tools for stress testing the application using SWING. Developed the reporting data generation components using Vitria BusinessWare. Currently working on a proof of concept using IBM WebSphere Application Server 5.1 using MDBs. Worked heavily on performance tuning and stress testing the application.

Responsible for the Architecture, Design, Development and Testing of the Caliber Application, which is a rule based commission calculation Engine. Used Rational Rose and UML for the design. It has a SWING based front-end communicating with EJB server components running on IBM WebSphere Application Server. Developed the GUI and EJB server components using VisualAge for Java. Used JUNIT framework for unit testing the server components.Played the role of Lead Architect in designing the client and server components for the Commission Calculation Engine. Also mentored the Team to bring them up to speed with EJB/Java/OO Programming. Responsible for deploying and maintaining the WebSphere Application Servers.

Performed the role of Lead Architect on the B2B ChoiceParts application. This B2B application enables Auto Dealerships and Auto Collision Body Shops to locate, transact and track part orders online. The application was developed using JSPs, Servlets, JDBC, EJBs and ORACLE. XML was used extensively for integrating with our partners.Responsible for migrating the collision application from WebLogic to WebSphere. Instrumental in solving a number of porting related issues from WebLogic Application Server to WebSphere Application Server.Involved in the design and development of the integrated application that combined the collision application with the dealer application in creating one holistic product. Used Rational Rose and UML during the design and development phases.Worked extensively with IBM VisualAge for Java and WebSphere Application Server. Helped troubleshoot a number of deployment issues. Have extensive experience with the Work Load Management features of WebSphere.

Performed the role of Designer/Developer on the Princeton Loans and Receivables Project. The Loans and Receivables GUI application employs a three tier architecture built on top of object frameworks, which handles and buffers the application code from issues such as transaction management, concurrency etc. The application was developed using Java and Oracle RDBMS and runs on Unix and Windows NT. All the GUI components were developed using the SWING API.Responsible for designing the various User Interface windows, Business Objects and Batch processes. Also involved in collecting user requirements and writing External/Internal Design documents to be used by programmers as program specifications for development. Also performed the role of team lead on the Princeton Loans and Receivables Project. Involved with prioritising the deliverables and managing the requirements with the client. Also working with other developers in aiding and mentoring their Java skills.
