With over 15 years of experience in advocating gender inclusion, youth employment, child protection and capacity building, I possess strong history of providing humanitarian leadership and support in community development and crisis management. By leveraging my multitasking abilities and managerial skills, I have successfully orchestrated end-to-end phases of large-scale projects and programmes from conceptualization, budgeting and development to implementation, evaluation and reporting. Among my many competencies is the ability to work in conflict-affected environments by consistently adapting to new situations and challenges. I have been integral in mobilizing funds and coordinating principled humanitarian action by forging constructive partnerships with multi-cultural organizations as demonstrated in my recent role in UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). Operating as a Relief, Reintegration & Protection (RRP) Officer, I liaised with development partners to drive humanitarian and emergency response processes. I offered recommendations to mitigate concerns pertaining to social protection of civilians and resettlement of IDPs. My commitment to providing psycho-social rehabilitation and emergency assistance while positively impacting the global population has earned me success in being an agent of sustainable growth in complex environments. My career highlights include:• Administered seven UNMISS implementing partners responsible for executing 11 Quick Impact Projects (worth $550K) in the field of education, healthcare, security and energy, creating sustainable livelihoods and encouraging refugees to return to native places• Integrated Rwanda’s local determinants of literacy with organization’s efforts in educational and societal development, consistently cultivating cohesive structures to meet targets and objectives.• Enrolled over 100 schools in Connecting Classrooms project and established connections with schools in UK and Sub-Saharan Africa, enabling teachers and students to develop learning platforms and facilitating exchange visits.
