Research Engineer, Master Of Science ThesisEricsson 1994 - 1995Research in flying radars with objective to increase the voice and data rate transmission for flying radars in cooperation with a military assignment. The system utilized frequency hopping combined with M-ary orthogonal signaling, 8 modulation symbols, convolutional encoding in GF (8) and noncoherent detection. A Raylight fading channel and an AWGN channel were used for modeling and simulations. Bit error rate was used for system performance measurement.In fading channels with partial band jamming, with 80 procent duty factor, an alternative with 64 correlators were suggested for better performance.Publication: Coding and Modulation for Double Capacity in Flying Radars
