I have over 13 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development in a public school setting. I am currently looking to branch out of the classroom and public education. I have extensive experience in working with various learning management systems such as Google Classroom and Canvas. I also continuously look at data to improve my assessments as well as my curriculum. As a department lead I worked with 16 to 21 teachers at a time to collaborate and vertically align curriculum and create common formative assessments to improve student achievement. I consistently communicate with adults and adolescents alike in group settings as well as individually. I have excellent reading, writing, and editing skills, and I consistently work to improve my skills through professional development, research, and listening to those who have achieved mastery in their fields. I am open to trying news systems and strategies, but I also have developed systems that achieve the goals intended.
