In the early 1970s, insurance innovator and founder of National Liberty Corporation, Art DeMoss, launched a faith-based movement in Philadelphia uniquely geared to help business and professional men find balance, focus and direction in a rapidly changing world.From Philadelphia this movement spread across the country, first to New York City and other cities along the East Coast, then, gathering momentum, to cities in the Midwestern and Western U. S. and eventually to several European cities. Physicians Paul Peterson and Pat Lester, who shared Mr. DeMoss’ vision, brought what is now called FocalPoint to Tulsa in 1993.We all face challenges that affect us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Drawing on both our experience in the marketplace and the Bible, FocalPoint seeks to help businessmen and professionals make the rest of their life the best of their life.Using a variety of tools, including small groups, professional development seminars, special events featuring well-known speakers, and personal consulting, we offer opportunities for personal and professional growth.
