As a senior lead within the digital portfolio team & programme management office; I delivered multiple high profile digital projects which realised significant benefits including the digitalisation of Nursing & Paediatric clinical documentation into the electronic patient record system (EPR).I managed multiple technical, infrastructure and cloud migrations spanning multiple modalities and specialisms including Endoscopy, Infection Prevention & Control, Mortuary, Ophthalmology, Pathology and Informatics. I supported many other projects and go-lives for the Trust and partners which included integrated care boards, partner Trust's and suppliers.My role also included the line management of a small but productive team and at times included the stepping up as the digital programme manager; leading conversations and working alongside and supporting senior leaders and clinical specialists.A challenging but very rewarding position.

I returned to Dudley MBC as a technical project manager initially to support and deliver a much delayed Social Care system reform project. I supported numerous high-profile VIP events across the city of which included large multi-site outdoor events and Civic ceremony’s. This included event design, build, support, management, sound and lighting engineering. Working alongside some of the UK’s biggest live event companies such as ADI.tv to live stream events and TheStageMen for outdoor staging, sound and lighting.I was the main contact for Audio Visual requirements within the local authority; running many city wide projects simultaneously. My main focus was the re-development of the Civic centre which included the design, installation and implementation of AV within 148 meeting rooms; committee and training rooms and various bespoke installations such as LCD video walls and Dante powered and Xilica controlled multi-zoned PA systems working alongside Dolphin Media.I headed up digital signage across the city; introducing new branded revenue increasing solutions such as WVActive.TV and WVActive.Radio for the city’s leisure centres. I worked with One Digital Signage to design and develop a freestanding curved Kiosk for the City of Wolverhampton of which was implemented around the city.I was awarded and highly commended for my role by the chief executive.

3rd Line Technical support for the SWS Group of companiesBased out of Bromsgrove; working within a small but highly efficient IT and Dev team I supported 196 UK & Northern American branches remotely with everything from system support to on-site build and installation of Windows Desktop, Mobile and Tablet devices, Mitel IP Telephony and Cisco/HP network hardware in new branches.The fast pace of the recruitment industry meant quick and efficient IT solutions were key to the success of the business. Each day was different and could involve reactive on-site support at locations across the county including branches, customer sites; warehouses and distribution centres.The position involved working with many non-English speaking foreign workers and on-site staff whereby language barriers could be an issue; I overcame this by forging great relationships and learning a few phrases along the way.We had to react quickly and develop new solutions to replace outdated ways of working; by collaboration with suppliers although keeping outdated technology alive was sometimes the only option.

A technical hands-on role within the sales & marketing team of RM Education.I travelled the UK planning, organising and managing all manner of events for RM Education and partners. From single shell stands at exhibitions, prestigious whole company conferences, seminars & marketing events at many venues including Excel London, Birmingham NEC & SCC Glasgow. I’ve closely with suppliers, designers, stand builders and partners to provide bespoke solutions within tight deadlines. This role has been a great opportunity to combine my technical know-how and AV experience and picked up valuable sales & marketing knowledge along the way.

My position was as a second/third line support engineer. Supporting 124 special, primary and secondary schools part of the Dudley Grid for Learning managed service contract.Fast passed and ever changing, every day was different; I thrived as a lead technical consultant and as a deployment engineer in several Schools during their school technology refreshes. Quickly picking up new technologies and working with the latest in Wireless, Cloud and network hardware technologies; seamlessly upgrading thousands of pupils, teachers and admin staff from Microsoft Windows 7 to Windows 10.I worked well along-side colleagues and customers on contracts outside of Dudley’s contractual scope building up customer relationships and winning several internal customer service awards,I was often the go-to guy for problem solving and appeasing tough situations.

My position involved resolving incidents and requests ranging from internally written applications to remote connections and mobile devices. I spent time within the networks team during large multi-site IP telephony and infrastructure upgrades. And I also redeveloped the councils web based incident logging application Log-IT which enabled customers to log calls directly from desktop applications.

I provided first, second and on-site support; with business critical hardware, applications and systems such as Oracle, Citrix and Open Accounts. I was also involved in providing support and installation of touch screen kiosks exploiting wireless and mobile connectivity.

I supported HM Revenue & Customs employees in my first line technical support position which involved solving problems from faulty hardware to business applications.
