Dr. Foez Ahmed is an Associate Professor in Information and Communication Engineering at the University of Rajshahi, specialized in Antenna, Electromagnetics and Microwave Engineering for wireless applications. He is currently developing metasurface-based antennas for satellite communication on the move (SOTM) applications. Dr. Ahmed looks forward to working with industry and academia to continue challenging research on antennas for space applications and to develop low-cost, creative end-user solutions.Dr. Ahmed received his PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), NSW, Australia. Contributing actively to communities, he serves as a secretary in the IEEE BDS Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) and Microwave Theory & Techniques Society (MTT-S) Jt and advisor in the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) RU Student Branch Chapter. Additionally, he is a potential reviewer for the IEEE Transaction on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE AWPL, IEEE OJAP, IET MAP, and flagship conferences.
