In this role I led the Commercial Operations + Design team, for Ireland’s public service media organisation and largest multi-media publisher. The team was responsible for implementation, optimisation, testing and delivery of direct and in-direct (programmatic) ad sales across key digital platforms and services including RTÉ.ie, RTÉ Player, and the RTÉ News Now app.Using cutting edge technology; innovation and new revenue-generation was a key area of focus. From 2012 - 2017 we lunched a number of media first formats across VOD, Display + Mobile including:VPAID ad formatsProgrammatic buying solutionsHTML5 creativeI coordinated + directed the design, build and development of digital sales creative formats + solutions.I also worked closely with Product, Production + Development, Editorial, Marketing + Finance. My role as Head of Commercial Operations allowed me to develop a mixture of strategy, monetisation, process and insight that helped mefurther develop my skills within RTÉ and the larger ad ops community.I was also a member of the AOP Ad Ops Group during this time. Highlighting key trends, discussing in-depth campaign performance & providing statistics (across our network) upon analysis & planning - as well as working with our publisher clients to introduce new & innovative Ad formats.I act as technical point of contact to the sales team & as well as our clients, assisting them in any creative aspects of a campaign. Managing relationships with our Ad Serving providers & when necessary working very closely with our publisher' technical teams.I'm also a member of the IAB Video Ad Council. Show less
