University Adjunct Lecturer

Current

Dayton, Oh, Us

Lecturing graduate students within the University of Dayton's Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration programs. Within the MPA program, my current and former courses include “Introduction to Public Policy” and “Media and Government". This course examines the ever-changing relationships and complex questions surrounding the way media impacts public policy and government, as well as the processes through which people make political choices in the United States. It is organized around the media's role in policy-making and what effect it has on the institutions and mechanisms of government. Less commonly investigated, though arguably just as important, is seeking to know what effect government has on the media in today's society. In the MBA program, I teach online within our award-winning MBA@Dayton program, my current courses being both Intro and Advanced Organizational Behavior. Both courses ask students to investigate the complex interplay of leadership studies, culture, conflict management, negotiation, and behavioral sciences, and how these relate to organizational outcomes.
