CWCIL, is a CWC captive insurance company. A Class B(i) licensed insurance company, incorporated in the Cayman Islands. Its role is to insure the risks of its ultimate parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates. The company covers natural catastrophe risk, which is high severity and low frequency and is unpredictable in nature.

I ran Financial Operations for the Centralised Roaming Hub of Vodafone markets connected with 650+ roaming partners from Luxembourg. Duties included Budgeting, Reporting, Accounts Preparation, Treasury and FX hedging. Role expanded to include Roaming Commercial Finance, and FP&A. • Led and successfully implemented financial aspects of a new transfer pricing strategy across 16 Vodafone markets, securing solid tax footing in Luxembourg (€1bn Turnover).• Worked with a a global matrix team• Provided critical finance decision support for high profile strategic projects related to retail launches and innovative wholesale pricing, including Vodafone RED proposition, and worry free roaming.• Delivered intuitive forecasting models for planning and controlling working capital, improvements generated a positive cash surplus above target by €23m FY13.• Key Luxembourg team member in implementation of Group wide HFM and SAP projects.• Carried out a Strategic reviews of impact and potential of MVNO’s on roaming, and opportunities to utilise the roaming financial clearing infrastructure to create an international money transfer business.
