The use of data analytics, in-country labour laws, the organisation's goals, culture and current realities were the guiding tools I employed in the achievement of these accountabilities. My belief is that every organisation should have solid structures to guide its operations whilst also being flexible in its deployment.Being a strong advocate of talent management and having been opportune to lead the human resources team for a decade plus, I endeavour to get management buy-in on best practice recruitment and on boarding practices. Getting the right talent fit for a job and engaging the talent to achieve and work at his/her optimal should be a continuous engagement by all stakeholders. This has been a success for me through the creation and deployment of the right Employee Value Proposition and initiatives in the form of performance management, employee on boarding processes, career mentoring, job enrichment and enlargement framework, compensation management, creating the right employee work life balance and wellness programmes, learning and development and the right succession planning techniques.
