I'm a Professor of in the Department of Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. I have skills in Clinical Research methods and Biostatistics, to which I have facilitated research, workshops and training both locally and internationally. I currently teach courses such as Oral Biology, Oral Medicine, and Biotatistics both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria where I also provide biostatistical services to students and researchers while conducting intermediate proficiency biostatistics workshops using data analytical software such STATA and SPSS. I also have significant administrative experience having served as the Head of Department for 6 years, and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for 4 years. I have also served as the deputy and acting CEO of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital for about 5 years.My PhD in Oral Microbiology gave me laboratory skills in Mycology and Medical Microbiology, where I specialized in Oral Candida virulence and its molecular epidemiology and infections among women living with HIV in Johannesburg. Currently, My research team is identifying oncogenic Human Papillomavirus genotypes present in the oral cavities of people living with HIV. Competencies:-Oral Medicine/Oral microbiology-Biostatistics-Oral and maxillofacial surgery-Teaching(Undergraduate and Postgraduate)-Research and Training Facilitator for Biostatistics and Research Methodology -Academic Writing and Journal Editing-Public Speaking, Communication and Presentation skillsI have published over 86 scientific articles and contributed 5 chapters in Medicine, Obstetrics Gynaecology, and Oral Medicine textbooks.
