Luso-Brazilian and Spanish Phonoaudiologist, clinician, lecturer and researcher in the specialties of Orofacial Motricity and High Dysphagias.Graduated by the Medicine School of Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ-Brazil), postgraduated in Geriatrics and Gerontology by the Superior Health School of Universidade de Aveiro (UA-Portugal) and in Neuroscience by the Medicine School of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM-Spain).Researcher of the Sleep Medicine Team of Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal‘s Pneumology Service (HURC-Spain), lecturer both of the Bachelor degree in Dentistry, as of the Master degrees in Orthodontics and in Odonpediatrics of Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio (UAX-Spain ), institution in which she is also the director of the Master degrees in Orofacial Motricity and in High Dysphagias, as well as the director of its Department of Phonoaudiology (Faculty of Medicine – Polyclinic UAX).Lecturer and tutor of practices, as well as tutor of the Master degree thesis of the Universidad de Granada‘s (UGR-Spain) which are related to dysphagia – other of her research lines.One of the pioneers of her specialties among the whole world to being in the frontline in the battle against coronavirus in a field hospital exclusively to patients with COVID-19, in which from her third day-on-call on she was promoted to lead Hospital Municipal de Campanha do Riocentro‘s Phonoaudiology Service (HCAMP Riocentro – Brazil) during the SARS-CoV2 pandemic after her recruitment as a civil servant of the Brazilian government by the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro (Riosaúde – Brazil).
