• Working as a software developer, I collaborated with a team to design and implement several solutions leveraging my skills in front-end development and my knowledge in back-end development.• Participated in the development of a hotel management system to streamline the operations of a hotel, covering reservations, room management, billing, and customer management. • Built RESTful APIs to handle requests from the front-end. These APIs managed operations like room booking, customer registration, and billing and interacted with the database.• Contributed to the development of a custom WordPress plugin to alow users pay for products and services using local payment methods such as MTN and Orange mobile money. • Tracked changes to my source code over time and maintained a history of changes and understanding the evolution of the codebase. It also helped in enabling efficient collaboration with team members through branching, merging, and pull request reviews.

• With my skills in AWS and DevOps, I took part in migrating from on-prem operations to operating in the cloud to improve efficiency while adhering to best practices.• Used AWS organization to group together company accounts for centralized monitoring and governance, as well as enhanced security. Leveraged the use of control tower, SCPs, CloudTrail to set up a well-architected, multi-account baseline.• Made use of online repositories to store source code and improve collaboration between employees. Leveraged Git and Github to push code from local machines to remote GitHub repository for version control, backup.• Used infrastructure as code for deployment of resources in a way that is efficient, easy to maintain, making using of CloudFormation and Terraform.• Automated deployment of applications using Jenkins, integrated with Github repositories and GitHub actions.• Implemented secure remote control of servers with configuration management tools using Ansible, Systems manager to easily manage the state of applications running on those servers.• Created containerized applications with docker that could run efficiently accross different environments in a scalable manner. First internship experience, first time being in a real-world working scenario where I got to work with new teammates from various backgrounds, different knowledge bases as well as my supervisors. I applied my theoretical knowledge acquired while in school to help the company boost productivity and increase revenue through digital marketing techniques, contributing by writing pieces of code to build solutions for the company which helped me grow in knowledge, skills and experience.
