1) Supervise and lead a team of Engineers, Technicians, Line Leaders, and Operators in achieving Department output and Quality through optimum utilization of available resources and at minimum cost.2) Responsible to assign duties to production Technicians, Line Leaders and Operators and place them in relevant work stations according to their skills and experience3) Understand grievances of production Technicians, Line Leaders and Operators while continually improving oneself from human resource point of view.4) Analyze root cause of grievances, and develop overall human resource plans to eliminate repeated occurrences of like events.5) Establish development plans for subordinates, and ensure that the organization is continually learning.6) Always displays a professional attitude, and treats people professionally, regardless of level.7) Settles disagreements one on one in a professional manner, using tactfulness, and concern for the best solution.8) Responsible to recruit, educate, and coach new hires as required.9) Accepts all challenges openly, then studies the situation and responds back with a well articulated plan, that demonstrates analysis of what can and can not be done, without emotional bias.10) Define a career progression plan that entails continuing education, learning computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint and Inter/Internet, Demonstrates preparedness for the future for both WD and themselves.11) Define, monitor, and maintain departmental efficiencies and metrics.12) Strive to understand what needs are necessary to achieve improvement in all areas of responsibility.13) Plan and organize available equipment, materials and manpower to meet production schedules.14) Direct the flow of work to ensure if is in accordance to plan and recommend appropriate changes for improvements.15) Control wastage’s and scrap in order to ensure profitability and efficiency of manufacturing.
