I am the head Senior Partner at Dallas McMillan where I am also head of Commercial Property. I have 30 years experience in the Commercial Property Leasing and Banking having been a Partner in McGrigor Donald and thereafter a main Board Director in a Development Company. I was and remain involved in Development work which includes not only Sheltered Housing Schemes but also McDonalds, KFC, B&Q and Halfords. I am also involved in differing variety of agreements in relation to Distribution Licenses and Options. I have had the benefit through experience of being a main Board Director in a Development Company in ascertaining the requirements of the client and consider this fully with the legal aspects of the transaction. This enables me to take commercial decisions to ensure that transactions proceed where they are of benefit to all concerned. I have recently been involved in a number of Pension Company transactions and also the sale of a large Sporting Estate in Scotland which included consideration of the various rights and obligations in connection with forestry land, small holdings and single farm subsidies.
