Most recently, I led the U.S. Government’s national disaster recovery program through an organization of over 7,500 employees, six geographically dispersed facilities, a call center, and a $116 million operating budget. These programs delivered $31 billion in grants to states and localities for disaster-related needs and $3.3 billion in direct financial assistance to individual households. I was also responsible for executing FEMA’s expanded post-disaster Direct Temporary Housing programs that provide housing for up to 18 months through direct leases, manufactured housing units, and travel trailer housing units.My core competencies include strategic planning and execution, identifying how business processes can further strategic objectives, and leading change in growing or challenged organizations.
