Coolr was focused on the employee engagement problem faced by companies and teams, and developed a mobile-first work social network to improve internal communication and sense of connection. The service included coaching for leaders to measure and take action to help address this problem in a meaningful way. Unfortunately we couldn't make it work as a viable business.

Led global organization reporting directly to the President, that included over 100 product, dev, test, ops team members who built and delivered HTC Connected Services that shipped on HTC One flagship devices (e.g. M7, M8) to help attract, engage/build loyalty, and retain users, including Blinkfeed, HTC Share, Get Started, Backup, Account, and platform services.

Dashwire helped pioneer the Connected Services market, bridging mobile devices and data across multiple operating systems and screens. Our licensed platform allowed Mobile Operators, OEMs, and Retailers to deliver next generation services for customers. We focused on the challenge of initial phone setup (pre-iPhone this was a big problem), phone and tablet backup/restore (across multiple device operating systems and brands), and providing synchronous access to your data across multiple devices and screens. Our software was pre-installed on devices by tier 1 Mobile Operators in the U.S. and Europe and in some cases was the first thing that customers were booted into. It was available as a download from a tier 1 consumer electronic retailer. The company was funded by Trilogy Equity Partners and Best Buy Capital. HTC acquired Dashwire in 2011. At the time of the acquisition, HTC was the #1 smartphone provider in the U.S.
