Ford Turrell is a corporate attorney who focuses on corporate, financing, and real estate matters. He’s drafted agreements to facilitate the development or sale of commercial properties for several major corporations, assisted with corporate mergers and acquisitions, assisted with various financing transactions and drafted and reviewed a variety of other contracts and agreements.Ford received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law where he received the jurisprudence achievement award (first in class) in seven of his courses. Ford graduated summa cum laude. After receiving his degree, Ford served as a law clerk to the Honorable David W. McKeague on the United States Sixth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Ford is a member of the Michigan Bar. He currently serves as a council member for the Administrative and Regulatory Law Section of the Bar and is a member of the Business Law Section of the ABA.Prior to obtaining his law degree, Ford received a Masters degree in Conflict Evaluation and Management and was a faculty member at several colleges and universities where the courses he taught included organizational and interpersonal communication and writing. Ford has also worked for several years in the music industry as a writer and artist.
