About Jim Devonport

Involved in the financial markets performing both sales and dealing roles since the mid 1980's I have a wealth of knowledge, experience and sales acumen; whilst also continuing to build and maintain long lasting relationships. Now settled in Australia for the foreseeable future, my primary aim is to assist business and high net worth clients with their international money transfers and to effectively manage their foreign exchange risk. My team and I at Compass Markets do this, not by trying to make money from the financial markets, but by actively negating adverse market moves so thereby protecting your bottom line. A comprehensive and regular review of your currency exposure allows us to create hedging strategies using a mix of spot and forward contracts, along with currency options when suitable.
