► During the 1980s, Lindquist began to work in other countries on a variety of cases. He understood that financial fact-finding reflects the marriage of people and paper -- irrespective of culture -- in the pursuit of truth, conducted within the rules of evidence. ► While the Partner-in-Charge of the Canadian firm, Bob started what is now KPMG International Forensic Practice in 1988 and was named its first Chairman.

In the early 1970’s all auditors were auditing. It allowed Lindquist to learn from experience. Lindquist earned his fee during cross-examination. Working with prosecution taught him a lot about the investigative and interview process and report writing. Lindquist made first contribution to fraud knowledge in 1977 in a book entitled “Accounting as an Investigative Aid”.
