I practice forensic economics, quantitative analysis and forensic accounting analysis against the backdrop of human capital in industrial organization in a urban and regional context. My work includes measuring and analyzing economic losses for individuals and small businesses; preparing written economic damage determinations of these losses; consulting with attorneys and their clients; participating in discovery depositions initiated by opposing counsel; and providing expert witness testimony of my findings, conclusions, and opinions in courts of law. My preparatory background has been a joint Masters in Economics and an MBA with additional electives in Accounting, and a Doctorate in Economics with applied fields in Business, Industrial Organization, and Urban Economics. To date, I have served on more than 400 individual cases and ten class action suits. I have helped more than 2,000 plaintiffs and defendants.

In addition, I am on the Economics Department faculty at Wayne State where I concentrate on courses in Money, Banking, and Financial Markets, and Urban, Regional, and Real Estate Economics. As a senior development officer, I created and headed the research department at a non-profit educational/social action institution that had an annual operating budget of $90 million. The DRCD, better known as The Freezer Theatre, was a non-profit performing arts company located in Detroit's Cass Corridor. Funding in part by the Council for the Arts, the mission was to produce and help other artists produce original works of theater, music, poetry, etc. Also, it was the birthplace of the Rock Against Racism organization in Detroit.

Accounting System Developer. As a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corp, I rebuilt and further developed the accounting system for this not-for-profit food bank. In addition, I developed an appraisal system for valuing food donations and was responsible for representing the company in four financial audits per year (per requirements of major funding sources).
