-Develop and maintain social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, & others) -Build social media engagement plan and media library-Recruit volunteers & build relationships with local organizations -Manage Google Business Listing, Tripadvisor Listing, Yelp Listing, VisitFlorida Account, Eventbrite Account, etc-Conceptualize, plan, develop, and execute large events. -Identify and apply for relevant grants-Use Horticultural expertise to beautify and develop the gardens

Program Assistant to Charlotte County's Florida Sea Grant Program. In this role I have: -Created and Launched Instagram and Facebook accounts.-Managed these accounts, kept the accounts active and engaging as we build a community to draw upon for volunteers. -Reviewed and updated materials for projects. Using my marketing expertise to create visually appealing and polished products. -Organized and compiled extensive lists of contacts within the community to draw upon for citizen scientist projects and educational classes. -Coordinated and communicated with 16 citizen science teams as we implemented a COVID careful seagrass & macroalgae monitoring project (2021 Eyes on Seagrass). -Helped organize and run Zoom webinars during the COVID pandemic for our local extension office (Curiosity Cafe & Master Gardener Series). -Developed a deeper knowledge base of local estuarine flora and fauna.

My roles as an OPS Technician on this project has been the following;-Track down and communicate with people who might provide insight/materials relevant to our project-Search and read through academic papers to find pertinent information for our project.-Help compile a comprehensive annotated bibliography of all this information.-Transcribe and take notes on both major meetings and the ten focus groups for the project.-Help review rough draft surveys/presentations/documents for other team members. The Florida Sea Grant project will create a comprehensive communication plan for residents, visitors, and businesses for HABs occurrences. More information is available at this link. https://www.flseagrant.org/redtideplan/ The specific objectives of the project will: -Compile a review of current red tide communication and outreach products at the local, regional, and statewide level; -Evaluate the public’s perception on the value and ease of use of existing red tide communication resources; -Evaluate red tide information needs and wants, assess how demographics influence how red tide information is received and why certain delivery modes are preferred; -Develop a communication strategy for Florida red tides comprising short-term event responses and guidance towards a long-term educational campaign, with both approaches using multilingual and multimodal outreach materials.

Worked as a part-time Lifeguard as I attended university. In this role my responsibilities included:-First foremost, I created and maintained a safe environment for visitors through the use of proactive rule enforcement and communicative lifeguarding. -Gained and maintained top-of-the-line certifications as Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor to better prepare and handle emergency situations, and teach others how to respond to them.-Educated a wide range of people, from toddlers to school-age children to the elderly, on water safety and swimming as a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. -Maintained daily water testing, water chemistry adjustments, and record keeping as a Certified Pool Operator.

Promoted to Lead position for final summer. Primary responsibility shifted to organizing and leading emergency responses.
