About Forest Rogers-Phillips

I have worked within the wine industry since 2009 for Pearmund Cellars, first in the tasting room, then eventually as assistant winemaker. I then moved to The Winery at La Grange to be assistant winemaker for the 2017 harvest before heading to Cellar Door winery in Maine for harvest in 2018. In 2019 I started at The Institute for Enology and Viticulture in Walla Walla WA, and graduated in 2021. This is also the year our wine label August Forest was started and we released the first wines in 2022. My thirst for wine continues to grow as I learn the business. I strive for professionalism, and the quest for infinite knowledge in the industry.
