My experience and industries are quite varied. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, the defense industry, and the sports industry I have learned many things about myself and many skills along the way to help me move into the future. One of the biggest things I learned along the way was the importance of communication, compromise, and teamwork. While coaching a youth soccer team in 2023 I discovered how much I truly enjoy making a positive impact in other people's lives, and this experience inspired me to go back to school to finally earn my Bachelor's degree instead of quitting as I have done before. I am currently on track to earn my Bachelor's in 2025 and am proud of my academic performance thus far. Recently, during a trip to Mexico for Lasell University and Niños de Veracruz's Shoulder-to-Shoulder program I took to heart the idea and belief that we (as humans) are all more similar than we are different. I want to explore this idea further and help communities and people across different cultures and backgrounds come together in communication and understanding. While I am a Sports Management major, and believe sports should be used to help bridge the gap between people and communities, I also believe in many other avenues that may be taken to achieve communication and understanding, and I plan to pursue a Master's degree in a field related to International Relations, Leadership, or obtain an MBA. I am proud of where I come from, where I am now, and where I am going.
