Recently relocated back to Columbia, Missouri after living abroad in China for six years so that I can raise my new family here. I've taken a role as a retail sales manager at Dillard's to put my sales and managerial skills to use.In China, I worked as a teacher who primarily taught English, but also taught drama and physical education. I ended my teaching career as the lead international teacher for a prestigious private kindergarten where I helped develop the school's curriculum, put on school plays, mentored new teachers, and readied my students to test into our city's international primary school.Before I moved overseas, I worked in the marketing and advertising industry as a sales representative and account manager for three years. I have call center and customer service experience, and can work well under pressure to meet sales deadlines.I've self-taught myself software development skills and attended two paid online courses: Harvard University's CS50 program and Coding Dojo's Django Full Stack course. While I'm most familiar with the Python ecosystem, I've also had experience programming React.js projects and C.
