The Eclectic Ride is one of the longest running and most high profile live music weekly showcases in New York City. The event spawn the careers of the likes of John Legend, Miguel, Santigold, Anthony Hamilton, Lyfe Jennings, Jazmine Sullivan, and Robert Glasper, among others. Over it's nearly seven year run over 400 live music acts took the stage. Those acts included other major stars and DJs including Mos Def, Mark Ronson, D-Nice, Cee-Lo Green, Erykah Badu, Macy Gray, Q-Tip, Bilal, Musiq Soulchild and many more. Also noteworthy of the event was the level of star power that Forrest was able to draw, which included names like Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Nas, Ashton Kutcher, Dave Chapelle, Queslove, Maxwell, Wesley Snipes, Keyisha Cole, Katt Williams, Anthony Mackie, Black Thought, Tracy Edmonds, and countless others. Forrest is responsible for creating, managing, booking, promoting, and curating the event.

The soul music themed lounge contained one of the most diverse crowds in New York City, according to the New York Times.Forrest served as managing promo director and was able to increase door and bar sales by over half a million dollars from the previous 12-month period, increase attendance by 70%, draw many stars, celebrities, tastemakers, and brands to use the space for private and corporate events, and attract top tier performers, promoters, and DJs to perform at the space.

UrbanWorld Film Festival is one of the biggest multicultural film festivals in the world, having featured films from nearly literally every major multicultural Hollywood star and filmmaker in the world.Forrest served as the Managing Director of Music Festival and was tasked to integrate a full scale music festival within the already successful five day film festival for a two year period. Forrest produced 30 music, concert, networking and nightlife events for the festival over the 2 year period, booking over 50 artists and DJs during the 5-day festival. This led to two of the most attended festivals in the history of the festival at the time.
