Perpetual improvement is a passion of mine. We can always improve our businesses and ourselves. By focusing on showing people how their service can better others in the organization we can create a winning mindset that will permeate throughout the organization. I have over 18 years in underground utility work. At Anchorage Municipal Light & Power, I have implemented marking standards that improve efficiency and safety for our field crews. I have improved the evidence capturing techniques by introducing geotagged photos for our locators, inspectors and line crews. I oversaw a software deployment that provides near real time response, cloud redundancies, and positive response, a first in Alaska.I am currently working on a team that won the Autodesk Excellence in Infrastructure 2014 Small Projects award for our work developing reality capture techniques for underground vaults. Currently we are working on incorporating UAS, LIDAR, photogrammetry, electromagnetic locating, and ground penetrating radar into our 3D engineering design processes.
