 Prioritize lab work based on production schedules and contractual commitments Interact with customers on daily basis regarding color requests, ink and press issues Provide recommendations of appropriate ink and color choice for applications  Calibrate and verify lab instruments Understand and perform all lab technician/color matching specialist duties as needed Train lab technicians Provide support and resources to lab technicians  Perform yearly employee appraisals for direct reports Responsible for ISO 9001/2008 audit and certification process

 Create reproducible and consistent ink formulations for various corrugated stock Create proofs or drawdowns for customer approval Responsible for quality control on finished materials such as ink and varnishes Test incoming raw materials to compare to set standards and specifications
