As one of the two primary deep water reservoir engineers for the Horn Mountain field in the Gulf of Mexico, I was responsible for managing 14 deep water wells (dry tree and subsea). My role focused on optimizing production rates, estimating reserves, and analyzing future well projects to enhance both near and long-term cash flow for the company.In addition to these core responsibilities, I led the creation and control of production modeling simulations using the PetEx suite, as well as numerical reservoir simulations (e.g., Merlin) to support development strategies. I presented the internal annual reserve report for Horn Mountain to Netherland Sewell & Associates, our third-party reserve auditor, in August, ensuring accuracy in reserves reporting and supporting company-wide growth initiatives.

Petroleum Engineer. While at Tradition Exploration, I was responsible for preparing and selling drilling prospects at prospect expos ( e.g. NAPE; PLS; PrivCap, etc.). I participated in contacting, making introductions, and selling prospects to Capital Providers and Private Equity Firms. In addition, my responsibilities also included:Cash flow analysis on producing properties; oil & gas prospect economics using PHDWin software.Website preparation (content and direction) for company prospects and partners.

I rotated offshore to jack-up and spar rigs while spending the onshore weeks in the Covington office. My summer project focused on building a "dump-flood" database which analyzed best practices and procedures used.
